ORIENT STAR 75th Anniversary Limited Edition M34 F8 Skeleton Hand-Winding The "M34 F8 Skeleton Hand-Winding," which debuted in 2022 as the Contemporary Collection's first skeleton model, has been re-released as a special limited edition to commemorate ORIENT STAR's 75th anniversary.While inheriting the appeal of the previous model, it exudes a presence befitting an anniversary model with a deeper worldview and refined finishing.
The design theme is the Perseid meteor shower.The ring-shaped open-worked dial, featuring Roman numerals and indices, adopts a gradient of grained coating that shifts from black to gray. The middle case and short-pitch metal band are finished with black plating, and the contrast with the bright steel colors of the bezel, case back, and crown creates an impressive look reminiscent of the depth of space.
The movement is equipped with the special F8B65, based on the in-house manual winding caliber F8B61.It employs a silicon escape wheel processed with MEMS technology, achieving high precision and a power reserve of over 70 hours. Furthermore, both the dial side and case back side are finished with a meteorite-like pattern created by state-of-the-art laser processing, producing a fantastical appearance as if a meteorite has been incorporated into the watch.
