We stock watch straps from brands including MORELLATO, HIRSCH, CASSIS and BAMBI. Choose from calf leather, crocodile-pattern leather, rubber, water-resistant materials, lizard, ostrich and metal bracelets, subject to availability.
We check lug width, strap thickness, wrist circumference and buckle color. Products not in stock can often be ordered, with lead time varying by brand and availability.

02 · PROFESSIONAL FITTING
Four points we check when choosing a strap
A strap should not be selected by color alone. We check fit, comfort, purpose and visual balance using the actual watch.
Wrist circumference, hole position, strap thickness and keeper position affect everyday comfort.
Leather, rubber and water-resistant materials are recommended according to season, perspiration and water exposure.
We coordinate the dial, case, stitching, edge finish and buckle color for a balanced appearance.

Easier wear and less stress on the strap
A deployant clasp can make the watch easier to put on and take off while reducing the repeated bending applied to a leather strap. We offer compatible clasps in several sizes, constructions and finishes.

04 · RELATED EXTERIOR SERVICE
Related exterior care around the strap
When replacing a strap, we can also inspect spring bars, screws, bracelet links, clasps and the surrounding exterior. Cleaning, parts replacement or workshop repair may be recommended according to the condition.
Spring bars and fittings
We inspect spring bars, screws, pins, tubes and attachment points that affect secure strap fitting. Parts availability depends on the brand and model.
Bracelet and clasp repair
We inspect loose links, damaged pins or screws, clasp operation, deformation and compatibility. Replacement parts or workshop repair may be required.
Cleaning and refinishing
We accept consultations for bracelet cleaning and refinishing of appropriate metal cases and bracelets. The finish, material and condition determine what can be safely improved.
About refinishing: Deep dents and scratches may remain. Excessive polishing can alter edges, engravings and case geometry. Coated, plated, ceramic, carbon, resin, some titanium and mixed-material components may not be suitable for polishing. We prioritize preservation over removing every mark.
05 · FULL CUSTOM STRAP
A strap designed from the watch itself
For unusual cases, integrated attachments or a specific design request, we can create a strap from scratch after inspecting the actual watch. Length, taper, thickness, curvature, hole position, stitching and edge finish are planned together.
- Materials may include cordovan, crocodile, calfskin, lizard, ostrich and galuchat, subject to availability and specification.
- Color, lining, stitching, thickness, taper, keeper and buckle details can be specified.
- The watch must be inspected before a final specification and quotation can be issued.

How long does a watch strap replacement take?
A compatible in-stock strap can often be fitted during your visit. Busy periods, screw-fixed straps, special structures and adjustments may require more time or temporary custody of the watch.
How much does fitting cost?
Fitting is free when the strap is purchased at CONTÉVANOU. Additional hole punching starts at ¥550 including tax. Special structures, repairs and parts replacement are quoted after inspection.
Do I need to bring the watch?
Yes. Please bring the watch whenever possible. We need the actual watch to confirm attachment width, case shape, spring-bar position, strap thickness, length and visual balance.
Which strap brands do you carry?
We carry brands including MORELLATO, HIRSCH, CASSIS and Bambi. Stock varies by width, material and color, and unavailable products may be available by special order.
Can you replace straps on luxury, vintage or foreign watches?
We accept consultations for a wide range of watches, including current and vintage models. We inspect the case, attachment structure and condition first. Manufacturer service may be recommended when dedicated parts are required or the watch is fragile.
Can you fit an integrated or special-shape strap?
Depending on the construction, we may suggest an original manufacturer strap, a compatible special-order product or a fully custom-made strap. The watch must be inspected before compatibility can be confirmed.
Can I add a deployant clasp?
Often yes, when the buckle-side width, strap thickness, length and hole position are compatible. Some straps and wrist sizes are not suitable, so we confirm the fit using the watch and strap.
Can you make a fully custom strap?
Yes. We plan the material, color, length, taper, thickness, stitching, lining, holes and edge finish after inspecting the watch. Prices start at ¥41,800 including tax and vary by material and construction.
