Collection: MINASE
A century of watchmaking passed down
MINASE is one of the few Japanese watch brands that adopts Zaratsu polishing (also known as Zaratsu). This finishing technique, which gives steel parts a perfect smooth surface by hand, has its roots in the technology of Swiss and German polishing machine manufacturers, first adopted in Japan by a case manufacturer (Hayashi Seiki Seisakusho). Just polishing one link of a steel bracelet requires up to 479 processes and more than 15 hours of meticulous craftsmanship.
・Zaratsu finish
・Patented "case-in-case" structure
・MINASE's unique reconstruction formula "MORE" concept
The annual production limit is approximately 600 pieces. It is this limited production that allows for thorough quality and embodies the spirit of Japanese craftsmanship—superior technology, know-how, pride, and dedication are present in each piece. CONTÉVANOU is an authorized dealer of MINASE in Tokyo. You can try it on in-store. Please experience it in-store.

Being serious about manufacturing
The glass and bezel create beautiful curves, and the bezel, lugs, and indices feature delicate cutting, enhanced by Zaratsu polishing to bring out sharp brilliance and three-dimensionality.
Furthermore, the case is designed with gentle curves that follow the wrist's contour, achieving an outstanding fit.
CONTÉVANOU respects MINASE's sincere approach to craftsmanship and values the importance of allowing customers to feel the charm through the actual product while cooperating with each other.
Please experience "MINASE that can only be enjoyed with CONTÉVANOU" at our store.

However, at a glance, the story of the advanced technology and tremendous passion behind this watch is naturally conveyed. Filled with charm that has captured the hearts of the Swiss and other European markets, MINASE has captivated watch collectors, just as predicted.
Now, it has established a strong presence as a symbol of the handmade craftsmanship that the world expects from Japan.

Additionally, we also offer a personalization service. According to your wishes, we will engrave your name or message using a rotary engraving tool at no charge.
This is a special service unique to MINASE, possible only because it is a one-of-a-kind item, unlike typical engravings on standard case backs.※ It will take approximately 10 days until completion.
DIVIDO uses a case-in-case structure, and when you look at it from the front, you'll notice that it has a design that is open on all sides, like a skeleton.
Furthermore, the case and lugs are disassembled, creating a polyhedral, three-dimensional shape that cannot be achieved with a one-piece case.
The DIVIDO 2.0 (VM14 series) has undergone a minor change to a movement equipped with a special rotor.
It has evolved into a more durable model.
MINASE's heartfelt new creation is Uruga.
The collection name "Uruga" is derived from the Japanese word "麗しい", which means "beautiful." It embodies elegance, nobility, and a spiritual grace—words that represent the "beauty" envisioned by the Japanese. For example, it refers to the dignified beauty found in the jewels of royalty or the sparkle in the eyes of a cool beauty Hollywood actress.
To express this uniquely Japanese beauty in a watch, MINASE envisioned the entire watch as a "beautiful jewel."
Furthermore, it employs a clamping structure that is unparalleled in the world, which sandwiches the bezel, glass, and case with four claws from above and below.
Thus, the one-of-a-kind collection Uruga was born.
Another charm of SEVEN WINDOWS is the sharp-edged case contours that evoke the tip of a Japanese sword.
The smoothness and sharp angles—contrasting beauties pushed to the limit by hand through SALLAZ polishing—truly belong to the realm of divine craftsmanship.
Additionally, the inner case supporting the movement, the three-dimensional dial, and the ring-shaped three-dimensional indices create a case-in-case structure that appears to float in mid-air.
The unique design beauty of MINASE exudes an overwhelming presence.
