CZAPEK 2026 new models now available at CONTÉVANOU
CONTÉVANOU, an authorized retailer of watches and jewelry, is progressively receiving new models from CZAPEK for 2025-2026.
The creativity inherent in independent watch brands, dials that connect traditional decorative techniques to the modern era, and beautiful designs that showcase the movement as an integral part of the watch's identity rather than concealing it.
You can now experience the charm of CZAPEK, which cannot be fully conveyed through photographs alone, firsthand at CONTÉVANOU in Yoyogi, Tokyo.

CZAPEK: Creating Modern Watches While Inheriting History. The 2026 CZAPEK Concept: Back to Basics
Quai des Bergues | The Origin Inherited by Modern CZAPEK
The "Quai des Bergues" is a collection that can be described as the origin of the brand, marking the revival of modern CZAPEK.
Its name comes from "Quai des Bergues" (Berges Quay), where François Czapek established his workshop in Geneva in 1845.
With an elegant round case, an asymmetrically placed small seconds hand, and a power reserve indicator, its classic composition, combined with the unique negative space and tension created on the dial, produces a look that is unmistakably CZAPEK.
The hand-wound movement Cal.SXH1, equipped with two barrels, achieves a long power reserve of approximately 7 days. Through the case back, you can admire the beautiful mechanism reminiscent of a 19th-century pocket watch, along with the modern design of the movement.
Rather than simply reproducing historical watches, the Quai des Bergues embodies the philosophy of watchmaking that inherits their spirit into the present. It encapsulates CZAPEK's past, present, and future approach to watchmaking.
Promenade | Enjoying the Dial as a Work of Art
Symbolizing CZAPEK's new expression is the "Promenade" collection.
Promenade treats the dial not merely as a background for time display, but as the central canvas of the watch.
Traditional guilloché, three-dimensional decorations that create a flow of light, and color expressions that utilize the unique characteristics of materials are combined with an off-center small seconds hand, resulting in a design that is classic yet possesses a subtle tension.
With a case diameter of 38mm, this modest size accommodates the significant presence of the dial and the beauty of the in-house automatic movement Cal.SXH5.
Promenade Plissé Ivory | Changes Expression with Light, Limited to 18 Pieces Worldwide
Among the new 2025-2026 models, one that CONTÉVANOU particularly recommends seeing is the "Promenade Plissé Ivory."
"Plissé" is a French word meaning pleat or fold. The dial features a three-dimensional pattern reminiscent of folded fabric.
When viewed straight on, it appears as a calm ivory. However, with a slight tilt of the watch, light travels across the delicate undulations, causing the dial's shadows to constantly change.
Instead of attracting attention with strong colors, the design incorporates light itself. Its delicate expression is much more striking in person than in photographs.
This model is limited to 18 pieces worldwide. Beyond its rarity, it exemplifies CZAPEK's aesthetic sense in the harmony of dial decoration, movement, and case size.

Antarctique | The Current State of Independent Sports Watches
One of CZAPEK's flagship collections is the "Antarctique."
While featuring a sporty stainless steel case and integrated bracelet, it maintains the delicacy of a luxury watch in its finishing, wearability, and dial expression.
The bracelet's central links feature polished "C" shapes, reminiscent of CZAPEK's initial. The contrast with the satin-finished links creates a play of light as the wrist moves.
Visible through the case back is the in-house automatic movement Cal.SXH5. With a recycled platinum micro-rotor and openly arranged bridges, one can simultaneously enjoy the movement's mechanics and finishing.
Antarctique Passage de Drake Glacier Blue
The "Antarctique Passage de Drake Glacier Blue" combines CZAPEK's iconic "Stairway to Eternity" pattern with glacier-inspired blue.
The three-dimensional dial changes its hue from blue to silver depending on the viewing angle and light intensity. While possessing the robustness characteristic of a sports watch, its colors are subtly elegant. It embodies CZAPEK's sports elegance, easily pairing with a jacket.
While photographs draw attention to the dial color, the actual watch allows you to appreciate the overall perfection, including the finishing of the case and bracelet, its slimness, and how it sits on the wrist.

Fratello × CZAPEK Promenade “Transparencies” Viridian Green
Another notable piece is the Promenade “Transparencies” Viridian Green, a collaboration between the international watch media "Fratello" and CZAPEK.
It features a deep viridian green and a translucent dial expression. When light hits it, multiple layers appear to overlap, creating depth within the serene dial.
This model is limited to 50 pieces worldwide. Its availability in Japan is extremely limited, making its arrival at CONTÉVANOU a valuable opportunity to directly witness CZAPEK's current creativity.

Quai des Bergues | CZAPEK's Origin, and Towards the Next Era
The "Quai des Bergues" is a collection that can be described as the origin of the brand, marking the revival of modern CZAPEK.
Its name comes from "Quai des Bergues" (Berges Quay), where François Czapek established his workshop in Geneva in 1845, along the beautiful Rhone River.
With an elegant round case, an asymmetrically placed small seconds hand, and a power reserve indicator, its classic composition, combined with the unique negative space and tension created on the dial, produces a look that is unmistakably CZAPEK.
The hand-wound Cal.SXH1 movement achieves a long power reserve of approximately 7 days thanks to two barrels. Through the case back, you can admire the beautiful architecture reminiscent of a 19th-century pocket watch, blended with modern finishing.
Rather than simply reproducing historical watches, it inherits their spirit into the present. The Quai des Bergues encapsulates CZAPEK's watchmaking philosophy, spanning its past, present, and future.
And now, the Quai des Bergues in Geneva, from which it takes its name, may once again become a special place for CZAPEK.
Anticipation quietly builds for the next untold story. There are also unannounced secrets. If you want to know more about this story, please inquire at the CONTÉVANOU store.
The Value of CZAPEK (Czapek) Is Apparent When Seen in Person
